Birth Announcement #1

So, I get the opportunity to create the birth announcements for my son's father & his wife (my son's step-mama Heather.) I'm just making a few samples for her to pick from, and instead of sticking them in a single post- will put them, as their own.

It's a boy, and he's almost a week old!

I will list the supplies if I know what they are. Since its' been 10 yrs since I've had a baby, I lack, seriously, in baby stuff. So I'm borrowing from a pal!

Stamps: That's Nice (SU), Feet (Stamp Craft)
Ink: Chocolate Chip (SU), Brocade Blue (SU)
Paper: Chocolate Chip CS, Baja Breeze CS, & MMY's Living Sprinkles
Other: staples

Ebaying Stuff

Well, thanks to the slumber party at my house, I was awake at 4am (the boys fell back asleep around 6am) and once I'm up, I'm up! So I decided to tackle my bins of stamps. Clearing out ones I rarely use, or haven't in so long I can't remember is a great feeling. Bring's forth much less guilt over my order I put in for myself the other day.

I'm currently working on listing everything. So pay attention to when items actually post... they aren't showing yet, they are being so slow.

I'll also be selling some items for a friend once she brings those over later this morning (she's going through them now.) Not sure if she will want them listed as the normal 7 day listing (mine will be 3 only) but will try to convince her to make it short and sweet.

Check them out!
Paper: Wild Asparagus, scraps
Ink: Certainly Celery, Always Artichoke
Stamps:
Other: Scallop Border punch, Scallop Circle punch, 1 1/4" & 3/4" circle punches, dimensionals.

*it is all SU excluding the shimmer brown which is from bazzill.

Country Scrappin' Stamp Club Event

This Saturday, 1/17/09 at 2pm (at Country Scrappin' in Stevensville, MT) we will be starting our stamp club. There is still 1 open spot available. Please contact Donna (she's the guru behind Country Scrappin' and "starter upper" of the club) to sign up!

======================
Details:

We would have the club meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month it runs (depending on the number of people who sign up) at Country Scrappin'. Cost would be a 1 time fee of $25, plus each member would have to order $20 each month. Each member would take turns playing hostess so everyone would get a chance for hostess bene's. Children are welcome, but please they should be 14 yrs or older so they can follow along more easily.

=======================

Please make sure you have your basic stampin/scrapping kit with you. This would include, trimmer, scissors, marking utensils, adhesives, etc.

Bella's have invaded!

I love to stamp- and not just from one company. I believe in sharing the love.
I received a HUGE order of Bella's and I must say. I am in love. Cute, stylish, portable, and did I mention cute?
I purchased with a theme & cause in mind. Stay tuned to see lots of cuteness!

SCS blogger group challenge

So, it's my turn to do the challenge.

"Love layering those pattern papers & stamps"

Make a card or layout using ONLY pattern papers. (You may use CS for a base, but please make sure that it barely shows. PP should be the focal point.)

With that, layer your stamp(s) in a way that you are still able to see. Think see through/vellum type look. Example is on my blog from a challenge idea I completed here on SCS. (this example is below with full details) It was a big hit on here, so I figured- share the love!

Please leave a comment here with your link when you've completed it so I can come by and see what ya did!

New catty's are HERE!

They came while I was at school.

I made Joe open the box and bring me one.

My 3rd period class actually heard me squeal.

Now I'm home, and I'll look at it again... and maybe, maybe play some too...
