It's a Boy!

Sorry the pictures aren't as wonderful. I was in a rush. I'd been invited to a baby shower this morning, and so I completed this within 4 hours.

Now, keep in mind that that includes a trip to the PO, a shower, getting gorgeous, switching out laundry (because my favorite jeans were washed last night) and wrapping. Then I remembered the card. Then I forgot to take pictures- so I tore it open, and made my husband rewrap it.

The little pages flip in and out- and the tabs... well, cut them off in the pictures. Shame on me. Next time I vow to have ready to go albums- and not lose great photo's of my projects.

It was cute, and simple to do. The inside pages (in pockets) were adorable, but time crunch, and forgot to get pictures. Lots of stamping, ribbons, embellies on them.

CCC #1

My first set of 10 for the Christmas Card Challenge. I plan on stamping the last name of the person getting the card on the tab. But, will do that in December. :)

OB: in progress

So, my room is a work in progress. I had hoped to have it done by now, but no such luck. Darn school for getting in the way!!

But, it is coming along. My goal today is to finish it. Except for the tedious things like organizing paper. I'm just putting it where it's to go (closet) and will go thru it later. Like when we watch a movie or something.

My only "big" need is some sheers. I've not seen anything I like, so I need to get some material & go at it. Just haven't. So my valance looks a bit like it's missing something- but it is! Will hit the fabric shop here at 10am when I go off to get N's friend. I do LOVE the fabric I picked up at JoAnne's though. It's fun, funky & bright! A perfect tie-in.

This would be the main wall. Ignore the desk, it's horrid. But one day I will have space. I hope tonight. But, nothing is in the living room, or in the center of the room any longer!! That is a huge thing- especially to my husband!

It's Orange Burst!

So, my mommy gave me some $$$$ and I decided to use it to redo my scraproom. It's not a very large space, but, even small spaces need TLC! I was going to do a shade of green. It's what I had it Kuna. Then I decided change was good, and went with yellow. Only, couldn't find a yellow I loved. Then I recalled how much I *LOVED* the "Love" I did for Hailey's room, and went with this.
My mom said it looked like a tangerine threw up. I had her watch as we painted- see her money to good use. :)
