Nie Nie needs our help.

Stephanie Nielson aka Nie Nie's Dialogues and her hubby Christian were in a terrible plane crash a couple weeks ago. You can read about it on Cjane's blog.

They are still in critical condition with 3rd degree burns and months of rehabilitation ahead. There are a few silent auctions going on to help them.

There is a link on my sidebar to donate. Or click here for more details. But please stay tuned. I will be having a silent auction myself with all proceeds going to Nie-Nie's fund. Since it will be scrapping & stamping goodies, I thought it relevant to post here. Stay tuned!!! I have guests in my scrap room currently, but will get items together on Monday to shoot off. Think new wonderful toys!!!

Thanks again for reading this- and for your support.

Almost Home

Well, we are almost home. We leave CA in jut a little bit, headed for a weekend in Las Vegas, and home on Monday. We've had a great time, but me knowing that school started (for us) on Thursday, makes me antsy to get to work. The kids go back after Labor Day, and I'll be back this coming Tuesday.

Also looking forward to scrapping most of these GREAT pictures I've taken!!!

Mounting the new stamps

I never minded cutting my stamps- but the diecut sets are LOVELY!! I had my 9 year old help me mount them!

The SU new stuff is here!!

Well, with us leaving on vacation in less than 48 hours, I was going to wait to get some of the stuff from the new catty. However, the hubs said to order it anyhow and do next day air. So, who am I to complain?! It came today, and while I got a very toned down list- I'm so excited about it all!!! Tonight I'll play- as I have a card class Monday evening (yes, while on vacation) with my sister and her friends. I love playing with new goodies!
I now know why he told me to do it though. Tags. Anyone who is a hunting widow will understand. He got out of state ones as well. I'm gonna have fun shopping... just in time for San Diego & Vegas. YAY!!

Surprise Bag

I know this doesn't show much. But give me time to do a tutorial, and you'll see it better. Tutorial should be up within the week. This class was a BIG hit yesterday, even with Donna who owns the LSS I'm teaching at. (The store was BUSY yesterday with 3 classes going on.)

Anyhow, it's a lot of fun, and a mini album with A LOT of pages and pockets to put plenty of journaling & photo's in!

YAY!!!

I'm gonna get even.

I had a few classes today, and he said no box. Well, I'm home now and my 9 yr old (DH dropped him off at the store on his way to work- 2 blocks from store) told me that he had a secret. Seems DH (dratted instead of dear) bribed the kid to stay mum on my catty box. HE HAS IT IN HIS TRUCK. We live almost 45 miles from where the store/his work is.

So, to get back at him (after I drive back to Stevi to get it- he gets off at 2am, and I will not wait) I am gonna wash all his underwear, and then put it all in the freezer.

Every single pair.

Mr. Brown

Well, he came yesterday, but not with my catty boxes in his arms. My husband has been instructed, should Mr. Brown come, to bring one box to me in Stevensville on his way to work. I'll be there until around 5pm- and Mr. Brown comes around noon.

Of course, should Joe not bring a box, then I will also be wondering if boxes sit on my doorstep!

Recipe Album (class)

Paper: sneak peak DSP, Whisper White
Other: Rubons, Quickutz, ribbon, punches
Everything is from SU excluding the ribbon.

This is not 100% done, as I need to cover the "Staples" on the clipboard, but I'm waiting till this afternoon when I am demo-ing a technique I want to use for it. This will be a class (and then a tutorial) in late September.

HOPE
