Just not scrapping or stamping related. I need to get a few baby blankets done for my sister, plus as Christmas gifts for all the nieces & nephews (10 of those- Knee's don't share the pictures!) So yesterday I cut a zillion squares, and got to sewing. I completed 2, 3 tops mostly done, and away I go to Missoula tomorrow after I get done at school to pick some border prints & lots more batting.
When I lived in Idaho I quilted all the time-- much more than I do since I've moved to MT. I blame the fact that I no longer call a quilt shop my 2nd "sanity" job, here it's a scrap shop.
Enjoy, and I promise to be back to scrap stuff very soon.
I've finally gotten around to it- and thanks to K's prodding, we are well on our way to having a stamp club in the southern end of the Bitterroot Valley. (Darby, Hamilton, Corvallis, Victor)
It's $25 for a "fee supply" (1 time per session, the length of the session will depend on how many people sign up for the group) plus buying $20 of product a month (the order will be done that night, and ordered the Monday after the class. If you can't attend that month's meeting, I will give you the supplies & a picture of the project and you can do your order with me before the club meets.) Each month a different hostess to get the hostess benefits.
I will provide all supplies other than the basic tools (scissors, trimmers, etc) excluding one month where we will be having a bigger class (approx 2-3 hours) in which I will provide a list of items needed. (You can use this list to order your $20 worth of goodies.)
The kind of projects we'll be doing will alternate. Since many like to do cards & scrap. So card's, layouts, mini albums and altering! I will show a sample of the next month's item at the end of each meeting.
Meeting's will be the 3rd Friday of each month, from 6:30-7:30 at my house. If you are interested, please email me: firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a comment here.
We currently have 5 people already signed up. I will take up to 12 (which would be a year long) and if there are more, or you would like to form your own group, I will set up another club. Just let me know.
Please go ahead and donate to Nie- Nie's paypal account (side bar) and the forward me the receipt. I will then priority post your goodies to you! Then when you pick out the new stamping stuff, let me know and I'll order it for you and have it sent directly to your home.

Well, tonight is the night where I am catching up on making goodies, looking over he scrap mag's that have stacked up in the last 6 weeks, and everything else. I finally looked over the holiday mini in between classes and running to the elementary school (my kiddo forgot his lunch.)
What a GREAT mini!!
I just ordered everything (just about, lol!) and I am gonna be looking forward to the end of the week. Not only will it be the kiddo's birthday (on Friday) but it will also bring mail goodies for me! YAHOOOOOOOOOOO!
Oh, and the following Monday will bring a German exchange student into our home for 3 weeks. Which means more "not around time" for me. It will be fun having a teen in the house!
Well, so I've been back now for about 2 weeks- but as soon as we came back we had visitors for a few days, then school started, and my son will be 10 in 13 days, and life is CRAZY!!!
My goal, since I am back at work full time, is to try to post here at least once a week. The fall seems to always be ever so busy for our family (think work, school, homework, hunting, sports, etc) but once a week sounds doable.
Stay tuned- and thanks for being patient with me during my absence!
