Doodling Challenge

I blurred out stuff with names & home addresses, but you get the idea. I doodle, but nothing like what this challenge called for! Fun, fun, fun! :)

Victor, Montana Weekend Crop

Well, it looks like I'll be attending yet another weekend crop. This one is closer to home, and will be in Victor April 18-20.

Exciting, my friend M convinced me I should go, and so I am going to go. We're saying it's my Mother's Day gift. Which is fine by me!!

Should anyone be in the area, and maybe want to come- email me, and I'll give you the details.

*Plus, I have a crop in about 15 minutes... wahoooo! Such fun! Though, this is just a Saturday evening one, and will be my final hoorah before school resumes on Monday.

Clean room=ebay loot

I'll be ebaying it off.I am cleaning my room. I decided that I would hold nothing back. Things I know I won't use, things I've received from swaps, from "sales too good to pass up, " and just things that I've outgrown were thrown into a box all week. This morning, that box reached it's full limit. Plus some other goodies. Will end on Tuesday.

Wedding PBB

This book is for a July bride. Her colors are orange & purple, which I admit I was a little nervous about. Thankfully my trip to UT brought forth fab papers! I did get some additional ones at 2 stores in my area as well, but Logan had the gold!
I am VERY happy with the way the book turned out. There are 8 pages in the pockets and some of the embossing didn't show up very well. As everyone knows, pictures do scrapping little justice!

Did you notice? There is *NO* cardstock in this album, not even the inserts! It's completely out of pattern paper!!

Stamps: She's all that, Priceless, For a friend, Seeing spots, Friendship blooms

Pro-adoption

We've missed having a dog, our black lab Junior was killed back in Sept, and while in Logan this weekend- we got the chance to adopt once again. I didn't have to think twice after looking into this little face. His name is Oreo, and I made my hubby take a picture of us as we came back into Montana and close to our home. Yes, it's snowing. Yes, we still have a LOT of snow. Yes, I hate the white stuff still. I hate it worse when we have to drive in 2nd gear!

This was a fun layout to do! hand pieced bunny (have I ever shared HOW much I love PPing?!) stamping, glittering, coluzzle & quickutz were used to make it what it is. I do have to admit, took a picture before the glittering was dry. But- still turned out lovely!

Happy mail day!

Last night the UPS man was my friend. It didn't help that I was sta.lking him though. During school, at break periods to make sure that I was right in knowing he would indeed visit my house.
How sad I was when no brown box was waiting for me upon my return from a crazy day of school. That box was holding my glimmer of sunshine.
But, oh happy day when the big brown truck parked in front of our house. I yelped with glee, and then reminded myself that I could not play because of our TOPS meeting.
So this morning, when I was making sure I had everything I needed for the day, I packed my stamps as well. I spent my break & lunch getting everything ready, and tonight I shall play... in my dreams. No time tonight- but they are ready should I find some time! Tomorrow night I'll be going to "First Friday" in Stevensville (crop starts at 5:30- we'll be eating at Romeo's then hitting the crop) and there I shall stamp.
I have a busy month of birthday's coming up in April, plus a lot of newly found pregnant people to make congrat cards for... I need to get busy!
A little side note-- I have loved rub ons since.. gosh, I first bought some back in Central Texas, eon's ago. (Okay about 8 yrs ago.) It's amusing/horrifying to me how many people did not know about them till SU came out with them. But, maybe, just maybe, it makes me special, cause I have had the love for them FOREVER! My mom would probably tsk, tsk me, for having way too much love for this stuiff anyhow. :)

Cleaning up the room...

So, I've been working on my room slowly. The last time I posted any photo's of it was right after it was painted, and things were slowly, so slowly, starting to get put back where they belong. I'm still organizing- I have way too much crap, however as I clean, I'm going thru everything also. I made a HUGE headway last night. And this is what has come of it. I have a floor, a bed, and even a little bit of desk. Pretty amazing!!
I still love the colors, and have even decided that orange might be my favorite color of the time. I'm drawn to it now, more than I have ever before. I always thought of it as the ugly step-child of colors. But now, I feel the love for it.
Looks a LOT different that it did when I first moved up to Montana.... huge difference! Well, in color at least!

EZ Scrappin' & More: March Madness Sales

One of the LSS is my area if having a "MARCH MADNESS SALE" for spring cleaning. I thought I would post it, just in case anyone is actually from this area, and might be interested. Plus, I know a lot of people find this blog just by "Bitterroot Valley."

EZ Scrappin' is located in Hamilton, Montana. The address is 114 north 1st street. It's next to Crazy Mike's or across the street from Les Schwab. Looks kinda like a 2 story barn.
