Spending spree

While I am sad to see any small business go out, I do love me a sale. Today I spend my monthly allowance (yes, I give myself an allowance.) And got a lot of nifty goodies, and stuff not even shown- cause it's secret goodies. Wahoooo!

And now, I can let this out of the bag. I *DO* plan on opening my own store here. Oh yes! Stay tuned! Those who showed today already know-- big plans in the works!

(received this email this morning-- since I don't get to Missoula but once maybe twice a month, I hadn't heard... many thoughts & prayers their way)

We have always known that Scrapbook customers are different than any other kind of customer. You all have always been so supportive and helpful through our journey. For those of you who haven't heard, our friend, partner, and fellow owner, passed away early Wednesday morning in the comfort of her home. Tracy has left an impact on so many people and this business. As our hearts are hurting in this difficult time, you have shown us once again, why we love to call you ours. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers, hugs and flowers. Their will be a Celebration of Life for Tracy on Tuesday, April 29th from 2:00 to 4:00 at the Western Montana Fairgrounds. Please come and share with us your memories and celebrate the wonderful life that Tracy lived.

EZ Scrappin' & More: LAST DAY

Saturday: 10am-6pm. Everything is 50% off. Papers (excluding specialty) are 20cents a sheet.

The last day for Hamilton, Montana's scrapping store (EZ Scrappin' & More) will be on
Sunday, 4/27/08.

They will be open from 8am till noon.

Everything will be 70%* off excluding racks and other items in the 2nd room (old sticker room.)

I'll be there helping out my 2 friends, so if you come- say hi to me!

Trading Pictures/Pages

This is a swap I'm sending off where we were in groups of 5, and received 4 others pictures to scrap. I had a good time, but declined to do journaling. I know, for myself, I prefer to do my own journaling- who wants someone else to write it out?!

Managed to get them done at a crop. Wahoo!

Tips & Tricks: Coluzzle

I've been a lover of the Coluzzle since... well, probably close to when the things came out. It was my first tool (not including pens, scissors, trimmer.) I love it. It is my friend, and I would have to venture that I've owned most of them at one time or another. Now I have the ones I truly heart (die cut machines replaced some of them.)

I've turned many a people on to them, namely CJo- so in her honor I'm explaining my tip for staying on the same track.

It's called sharpie's.

All I do is take different colored sharpie's and trace the track around, the next track another color, and so on, and so on. Obviously, it's not smart to use 2 shades that look a lot alike next to each other. :)

EZ Scrappin' set to close the doors

It is with heavy hearts that DZ announces the need to close EZ Scrappin' & More. Due to continued health concerns, the doors to the store will be closing at the end of the month.

They will be having a 40% off everything in the store sale, from now till ??? Also, on Friday evening, 4/11/08, from 7pm till 9pm (unless there are people for open scrap) there will be a "special sale."
