Paper: Bo Bunny
Other: Sakura Glitter pens, ribbon

the tutorial for this can be found here.

Tutorial: Star Album

Supplies:
Trimmer
Red line tape
Ribbon
3 sheets of 3 colors of 12X12 cardstock or heavy double sided paper (You can use anything, but for the ease of this tutorial I used 3 different colors so you could better see how to put it together.)
Chipboard for front/back covers (approx 5 1/2" squares, 2 pieces)
Extra sheets of coordinating paper to deco covers & insides
Embellishments

Now let's make the album!
Step 1: Cut 6 pieces of CS 11" X 5 3/4" (For this it's red)
Step 2: Cut 6 pieces of CS 9 1/2" X 5 3/4" (For this it's teal)
Step 3: Cut 6 pieces of CS 8" X 5 3/4" (For this it's patterned)
Step 4: Fold all pieces in half. Lengthwise

Step 5: Place Red line tape on the inside ends of the 2 biggest sets of paper. Not the smallest sheets. (In this case it is the red & teal papers)
Step 6: Line of the ends of the largest and middle sheet. Peel away red line layer, and attach.
Step 7: Take the smallest sheet, peel away red line layer on the middle sheet, and attach lined up. It will look like the below picture.

Step 8: Complete with the rest of the 5 sets of papers.
Step 9: Once completed, repeat steps #5-#7 on the other side of papers.
Step 10: Now, you are going to stack them up. All folded ends lined up on top of each other, and the open ends lined up. Take the first group of papers, outline with red line tape, and attach the second group of papers on top. It will look like the below picture after the first 2 sets are attached.

Step 11: Continue until all 6 groupings of papers are attached. One on top of the other. Once they are all attached, you can open it up and you will see why this is called a "STAR ALBUM." You are almost done!

Step 12: Take a length of ribbon, and glue it to the outside, and around, covers of the album. This will be how you keep the album open or closed.
Step 13: Decorate The chip board covers, then attach over the ribbon.
Step 14: Decorate the rest of your mini album and you're done!!

Good Things

This was this afternoon's class. I had it in stages, so I actually was able to finish it! Well, almost, I deco'd the front this evening. :)
The saying under the flowers isn't hard to read, but I suppose because it's almost midnight, and I'm exhausted, I just can't get an angle where it shows up well.

Family brag book

*This is a collapsing envelope book, made up for someone to show off her family. Small enough that it will fit in her purse, and big enough that it's more than just wallet sized photo's.

Wedding PBB

This book is for a July bride. Her colors are orange & purple, which I admit I was a little nervous about. Thankfully my trip to UT brought forth fab papers! I did get some additional ones at 2 stores in my area as well, but Logan had the gold!
I am VERY happy with the way the book turned out. There are 8 pages in the pockets and some of the embossing didn't show up very well. As everyone knows, pictures do scrapping little justice!

Did you notice? There is *NO* cardstock in this album, not even the inserts! It's completely out of pattern paper!!

Stamps: She's all that, Priceless, For a friend, Seeing spots, Friendship blooms

Happy Birthday Matchbook

Puzzle Book: Tutorial

Puzzle books are a lot of fun to give as gifts for whatever you might be celebrating. They are quick and easy, and can be completed using just 2 sheets of paper! Makes it even better for that quick, money might be an issue gift!

Supplies:
*2 piece double sided paper, or cardstock: more for decorating purposes
* sheet of chipboard
*tacky glue
*ribbon, approx 1yd
*pretties
*scorer
*hole punch
Score your paper into 3" sections. You'll end up with 9 squares.

Take your scissors and cut squares, on the scored lines, into a "circle." Obviously it won't be a circle, but you cut on the lines like you would be cutting a circle. The picture shows what it should look like. This looks like abackwards "L" but I am backwards (a lefty) anyhow!

Once you get it cut, fold up your squares in accordian fashion. This makes the puzzle book! See, it was that simple!
Cut your chipboard slightly bigger than 3" and cover with paper. Attach the ribbon to make a tie closure. Then decorate the front and insides to your hearts content!

This is going in the mail in the morning- destination, Boulder, Colorado!
