Creative still...

Just not scrapping or stamping related. I need to get a few baby blankets done for my sister, plus as Christmas gifts for all the nieces & nephews (10 of those- Knee's don't share the pictures!) So yesterday I cut a zillion squares, and got to sewing. I completed 2, 3 tops mostly done, and away I go to Missoula tomorrow after I get done at school to pick some border prints & lots more batting.

When I lived in Idaho I quilted all the time-- much more than I do since I've moved to MT. I blame the fact that I no longer call a quilt shop my 2nd "sanity" job, here it's a scrap shop.

Enjoy, and I promise to be back to scrap stuff very soon.

We have snow people

Check out my weather pixie in the side bar-- she's not lying, it IS snowing.

That is just SICK & WRONG.

We're renting movies, and making messes... I swear, Mother Nature is playing a sick joke- it's supposed to almost be summer! We didn't even get spring yet!

*I just turned on the heater in 2 rooms, and the fire place is now going again as well. This makes me cry, big, fat tears.

Bill Clinton was here

...and my 9yr old & I went to see him. Since my personal blog is blocked- I thought I would share a couple things real fast (a layout WILL come later, with ooodles of pictures.)

Okay-- now, while the tie matches her jacket, it has serious issues with his shirt. That is a hot pink & white plaid shirt people. And his boots, funky brown colored and had serious matching issues as well. Points given for wearing his wife on his wrist (Hillary 2008 wrist watch- which I have a picture of- yay for zooming) and also for talking from the bed of a pickup.

When in the world did they start employing high school kids to the secret service? I must admit, all the guys- minus one- were nice eye candy.

Not endorsing his wife-- just a life moment I wanted to share with my kid. Vote Tuesday people!

Pro-adoption

We've missed having a dog, our black lab Junior was killed back in Sept, and while in Logan this weekend- we got the chance to adopt once again. I didn't have to think twice after looking into this little face. His name is Oreo, and I made my hubby take a picture of us as we came back into Montana and close to our home. Yes, it's snowing. Yes, we still have a LOT of snow. Yes, I hate the white stuff still. I hate it worse when we have to drive in 2nd gear!
