Great Classroom gift

My son loves to read. Loves is a strong word- but he really does. We bought him a 5 book series (Gregor the Overlander) and her read them all in a week. I was a tiny bit bummed, just because he'd gotten through them so fast. But, I was also tickled because he got through them so fast.

For his class gift, we made bookmarks for everyone. With the help of punches (circles & scallops) and stickers & stamps, we dressed up paperclips, did a fun saying from Dr. Suess and stick them in a baggie.

He said they were a hit!

Scrapbooking Shower "swap"

What do you do for a mom who has a lot of kiddo's, is having a new baby, so a baby shower isn't really appropriate? Well, you have a scrapbook shower of sorts! Here is the layout I did for her. I won't be able to be at the get together, however, but I still had fun making it up.

Lots of dangle, sparkle (both in glitter pens & in rhinestones) and cut outs. (Half the flowers on the left hand side are doubled and popped out.)

Bet you can't guess what she's having...

1st Year Calendar.

I didn't get all the pictures- but enough. This is for a friend who just had a baby. It's a great calendar that can be written in and then torn out later to insert into a scrapbook. Baby's first year- easy as pie!

I do hate to do generic album pages with no pictures- but I know she'll want tons of pictures, and this should work. I stuck my own pictures on it (so she could see as well- not a scrapper) for sizing. And so I wouldn't completely lose my mind.

Babygift for Blueberry

I had a lot of fun with this. A friend/neighbor who has been struggling with infertility and trying for a baby as long as we have is expecting. It's been wonderful! She nicknamed her baby "Blueberry" thanks to our doctor. I tried, in vain, to find blueberry fabric, but no such luck. The inner section of the card is lovely- but it's intended for her eyes only... but trust me. :)
