Wow- been a LONG time!

Drastic changed in our world- we ended up moving, but instead of just to the next town, we moved out of state! With not knowing many people in the area, I've dusted off my supplies, and have started pulling them out to play with again. Oh, happy day!

A change with this blog is that it will not be strictly scrapping & stamping. But any creative mess that I am working on. Creative is creative- and it's ALL good.

Moving & Ebaying

We are moving & because of this (many other changes) I am cleaning out my scrapbooking room. I'm not holding back either, I do believe my husband is in shock.

I had a huge sale last month. I held some back for ebay (which I am listing right now- "TexasnIdaho") and very few that I'm packing up to keep. Not to mention giving a lot away.

I know I've been neglecting this blog- I'd planned on deleting it, but I decided to go ahead and keep it to share with the internet world. I do plan to come back and upload my creative spurts- just right now life if not online with me doing this.

Until then-- be sure to check out my ebay listings if you are hoping to get a killer deal on some great items.

Chaquita Banana Monkey

Chaquita was a mistake gone wonderfully well!

My friend Maria and I were trying to make a cow based on our sketches. We had 3 of them going at once and were having issues with the muzzles. This one was the most "monkey like," and we decided to go with it.

I think she turned out positively ADORABLE!

The eyelashes are a little on the heavy eye-liner side, but the stars in her eyes balance it all out.

Merry Moose-mas!

Great Classroom gift

My son loves to read. Loves is a strong word- but he really does. We bought him a 5 book series (Gregor the Overlander) and her read them all in a week. I was a tiny bit bummed, just because he'd gotten through them so fast. But, I was also tickled because he got through them so fast.

For his class gift, we made bookmarks for everyone. With the help of punches (circles & scallops) and stickers & stamps, we dressed up paperclips, did a fun saying from Dr. Suess and stick them in a baggie.

He said they were a hit!

These aren't exactly what we did. Everyone made their own thing. But we did what has become tradition- altering a calendar and making a matching pen.

Everyone has GREAT creativity!! We did it a week early because of the holiday (mixed with crazy travel plans!!)

Top Note die, 3 different sized circle punches, scraps of ribbon and a black glitter pen for good measure. This was what we did for a Kid's Krafting class at our local LSS. The kids had a great time!

Had the preview party- and the 1st official date to start is the 21st. We have 1 opening left- contact me if you are interested.

Good grief

Life has been so busy- I miss my scrappin & card making time. A lot.

Medical drama's going on as well, plus throw in being back to school. It's no wonder the 3 of us fall into bed every night!

Hoping to be back to scrapping on a normal basis again very soon. My goal is to spend at least 3 hours a week in my little room. I've got 3 craft fairs to get ready for!!

Also- the card club is starting back up. We have 2 spaces open- 3rd Saturday of the month at 9am. Email me for details.

I was at 1st Friday doing some card fronts for a swap when a friend walked in and wanted to make what I was making. She did good!! :) (My pictures will be up of my 3 images once I know April has them in her hands.)
